Nutty cocoa porridge

Nussiges Kakao Porridge

No matter whether spring, summer, autumn or winter - porridge ensures a fabulous start to the day all year round! But especially now, when it's often still fresh and gray outside in the morning, it's just great to start the day just right with something warm in your stomach. This great recipe, which was penned by our co-founder Caroline, comes at just the right time.


For 2 people | Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

For the porridge:
100g 3Bears Porridge Fine Cocoa
300 ml almond milk (unsweetened)

For the topping:
1 tbsp hazelnuts
1 tbsp almond sticks
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp almond butter (unsweetened)

preparation

  1. Mix 3Bears Porridge with the almond milk in a pot and simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir until the porridge thickens. Divide the warm porridge into two bowls.
  2. Roughly chop the hazelnuts and roast them with the almond sticks while stirring. When the nuts are slightly brown, stir in the maple syrup.
  3. Drizzle some almond butter onto each of the two bowls of porridge, cover with the roasted nuts and garnish with other toppings as desired.

Our tip: Try the recipe with oat milk for even more oat power! Have fun and enjoy your meal!
