The apple and berry muffins are the perfect snack for little adventurers. The muffins are prepared with our Wild Kids Porridge Fruit Party. Of course, for the kids we pay particular attention to ensuring that it contains lots of valuable nutrients. This is ensured by our Wild Kids Porridge with valuable carbohydrates and fresh ingredients with valuable vitamins: carrots, raspberries and blueberries. The muffins are sweetened with apple pulp. The nutritious muffins for children can be packed as a snack at school or on the playground with a clear conscience.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 carrot
- 100g Wild Kids Porridge fruit celebration
- 50g wholemeal spelled flour
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 100g apple pulp
- 50g natural yogurt (3.8% fat)
- 6 tbsp organic oat drink
- 75g fresh raspberries and blueberries
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180° and prepare 10 small muffin cases.
Mix the chia seeds with the water and let them soak for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and grate the carrot. In a large bowl, mix Wild Kids Porridge with spelled flour, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda. Now add all the remaining ingredients (except the berries) and mix into a dough. If the dough becomes too stiff, you can add a little more oat drink or water.
Divide the batter between the muffin cups and distribute the berries among the muffins and press them into the batter. Bake the nutritious muffins for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees top heat and then let them cool down well.
