Vegan Banana Bread with Walnuts and Dark Chocolate

Banana bread recipe

Ingredients

1 tbsp chia seeds
4 tbsp water
150g 3Bears Porridge Poppy Banana
200ml 3Bears organic oat drink
3 ripe bananas
60g rapeseed oil
50g brown sugar
170g flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 pinch of sea salt
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
1 pinch of cinnamon
50g vegan dark chocolate

 

For decoration:

2 tbsp walnut kernels
1 halved banana

Preparation

First mix the chia seeds with water in a small glass and let them soak. Then mix the porridge with the 3Bears organic oat drink. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Add oil and sugar and stir into the banana. Combine the porridge, chia seeds and the mashed bananas and mix everything well.

In the next step, stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Cut the dark chocolate into rough pieces and fold into the dough.

Now, line a loaf tin with baking paper and spread the walnut kernels on it. Pour the dough over it. Finally, peel a banana and cut it in half lengthwise. Place the banana halves on the dough and press lightly.

Then bake the vegan banana bread for about 45 minutes at 180 degrees top heat.
