DIY gift ideas for Valentine's Day

DIY Geschenkideen zum Valentinstag

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and maybe you're still looking for last-minute DIY gift ideas. We find this day somehow beautiful because we see it not only for couples, but somehow also for family, children and friends or colleagues. Because let's be honest, everyone is happy when they get a little treat.

Our dear guest blogger Rock.Mom.Living thought this year, why not surprise your loved ones with something healthy and delicious for Valentine's Day? So let's go to your fabulous 3Bears Porridge gift creations.

3Bears Porridge Three types of berry muffins

Our fabulous 3Bears Porridge Dreierlei Berry variety can be used to create a batch of wonderfully fluffy muffins with little effort. All you need is:

Ingredients

2 cups 3Bears Porridge Three kinds of berries
1 cup spelled flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
a pinch of salt
1 apple (finely chopped, the seeds from half a pomegranate (optionally you can also use other berries, sour cherries or chopped nuts)
2 eggs
50g cane sugar
200ml milk (alternatively, oat milk is also suitable)
50g coconut oil

preparation

  1. Add eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt, cane sugar and coconut oil to a mixing bowl and beat until fluffy.
  2. All other ingredients – except for the fruit! – Add and stir until the dough becomes a smooth mass.
  3. Finally, carefully stir in the apples and pomegranate seeds (or the remaining fruits) by hand
  4. Pour the dough into a lightly greased muffin tin and bake the whole thing for around 25 minutes at 200 degrees (fan oven 180 degrees).

Take it out of the oven, place it on a breakfast tray, serve it in bed and your Valentine's Day breakfast is ready!

Baked pomegranate porridge

By the way, you can also use the same dough to conjure up a delicacy in a glass - instead of putting the dough in the muffin cups, simply put the dough in smaller mason jars (fireproof!) and fill the dough about halfway up. Then bake the whole thing for around 25 minutes and let it cool.

Then add pomegranate seeds to the baked dough, cover the whole thing with a layer of creamy natural yogurt and garnish with fresh fruit on top. Put it in the fridge for an hour and you're done!

Succulent plant in a 3Bears glass as a gift

And as a little DIY, our dear Rock.Mom.Living came up with the idea of using the practical screw-top jar as gift packaging for on the go.

Anyone can have flowers on Valentine’s Day – why not give a pretty succulent as a gift? You can even send a lovely invitation to Valentine's Day breakfast in the Overnight Oats jar from 3Bears.

And once another nice spot has been found for the succulent, you can always use the practical jar from 3Bears when you're on the go, to the office or to school or university - to enjoy a healthy breakfast at any time.

Now I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Valentine's Day - get cozy and enjoy the time as a couple or with your friends, children or colleagues. In short...with the people who are #just right for you!
