Do you love them as much as we do? Then this recipe is just right for you! These pancakes get their fabulous taste with all-natural ingredients and our delicious 3Bears Porridge variety Cinnamon Apple . You can let your creativity run wild with the toppings, according to your wishes.

The recipe

Serving: approx. 6 filling pancakes Time: approx. 20 min

For the pancake batter you need:

For the apple topping:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Additional toppings:

  • maple syrup
  • Thawed or fresh berries
  • Soy yogurt
  • Fresh mint

That's how it's done:

  • Grind the porridge in a high-performance blender until a fine consistency, almost like flour, is achieved.
  • Mix the flax seeds (I recommend ground), the ground porridge, baking powder and oat milk in a bowl.
  • Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the apple into cubes.

Ingredients Cut apple pieces

  • Place the apple in a small pan covered with water. Bring the cubes to the boil, then simmer over low heat for 3-4 minutes.
  • At the end add the coconut sugar and cinnamon and mix everything well. Add more water if necessary.
  • Turn off the stove after 3 minutes and leave the small pan on the warm surface while the pancakes are prepared.
  • While the apple pieces are simmering, preheat a large skillet over medium heat. The pan should be so hot that a drop of water would sizzle on the surface. Uses a non-stick pan to fry without oil.
  • Pour the batter onto the griddle or use a spoon to form small, round pancakes.

  • After about 3-4 minutes, carefully turn with a spatula and fry the other side until golden.
  • Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
  • Place the pancakes on top of each other, top them with the steamed apple cubes, berries, mint and maple syrup and the taste magic is ready!
