Italienisches Caprese Porridge

With the hearty Caprese Porridge we bring a piece of Italy home. Our hearty porridge is full of healthy ingredients. The oat flakes provide complex carbohydrates, provide plenty of energy and keep you full for a long time. The fresh tomatoes, the creamy buffalo mozzarella, the fresh basil and the roasted pine nuts make our healthy bowl an absolute taste experience. Our Italian porridge is ready in just 15 minutes. Healthy cooking not only tastes delicious, but is also quick.

Hearty Caprese Porridge Bowl with tomatoes and mozzarella


  • 100 g hearty classic

  • 300 ml vegetable broth

  • 1 tbsp dried tomatoes

  • 10 cherry tomatoes 

  • 100 g buffalo mozzarella 

  • Handful of arugula

For decoration: 

  • Handful of fresh basil

  • olive oil 

  • 1 tbsp pine nuts

  • balsamic vinegar 

  • Salt 

  • pepper 


  1. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes and set half aside. Wash the rocket and finely chop the dried tomatoes.
  2. 3Bears Porridge Mix with the vegetable stock , half of the tomatoes , rocket and the dried tomatoes in a pot and simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir until the porridge thickens. 
  3. While the porridge is cooking, prepare the other things. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and wash the basil. Roast pine nuts in a pan. 
  4. Divide the porridge into 2 bowls and place the toppings on the bowl : add half of the fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil , pine nuts and drizzle with oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
