Vegan baked oats with chocolate and banana

Vegane Baked Oats mit Schokolade und Banane

Baked oats (or baked porridge) is a trend that you can't ignore on TikTok and Instagram at the moment. No wonder - baked porridge is quick and easy to prepare, is healthy and tastes like warm cake for breakfast. Who could resist that?

We therefore baked a chocolaty baked oatmeal with banana using our Wild Bowls Porridge in the Nutty Cocoa variety . In many recipes you will find sugar in the ingredient list. The natural sweetness of the bananas makes the baked oats naturally sweet - so we have removed sugar from the list of ingredients with a clear conscience. Thanks to our natural porridge mixture with nuts and cocoa nibs, you only need a few ingredients to turn your vegan baked oats into a taste explosion.

Ingredients

150 g Wild Bowls Porridge Nutty Cocoa

150 ml water

150 ml organic oat drink

2 bananas

2 tbsp nut butter (e.g. almond butter)

preparation

Mix the porridge with water and oat drink and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Mash 1 banana with a fork, stir into the porridge and pour into a small baking dish. Halve the second banana, place it on the porridge and press it lightly.

The baked porridge is then placed in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Spread the nut butter over it before serving.

Our tip: be willing to experiment! With our different varieties you can easily change the recipe and ensure a varied breakfast. For example, you can create a fruity version with our Wild Bowls Fine Berry Porridge and fresh berries.

Big baked oats fans shouldn't miss our recipe for baked oatmeal based on our cinnamon apple porridge .
